Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray‘s son and Chief of party’s youth wing, Aaditya Thackeray, on Wednesday started the second phase of ‘Jan Aashirwad Yatra’ – a campaign designed by the party to reach masses ahead of the Maharashtra State Polls.

He started the second phase from Solapur asserting commitment that he would make all possible efforts to ensure that the industries and factories are set up close to their homes.

Interacting with students at Walchand College in Solapur district, the youngest Thackeray said youths should focus on joining the administrative services by giving civil services exams, like UPSC and MPSC.

He further asserted that his party has set up a Balasaheb Thackeray IAS Academy to help students and youth in preparaing the examination of administrative services.

Speaking in the Yuva Sansad organized by the leader, he said such an event is organized because he wants to hear from students and the youth of the state. He further added that new leadership will be created out of this movement, who will then work for the welfare of the country.

This is the second phase of the outreach campaign of Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray.

Aaditya Thackeray had started his ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ from July 18. Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray began the first phase of his Yatra from Jalgaon District on July 18. The 5-day long Yatra culminated on July 22  after crossing through districts like – Nashik, Dhule, Malegaon and Shirdi.

The proposed Yatra is planned to seek people’s blessings across the state months before the Maharashtra State Polls. Shiv Sena, with this mega outreach plan, is aiming to reach out to Youths and win the trust of those who had not voted for the party in the party.

Incidentally, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is also slated to begin his ‘Maha Janadesh Yatra’ from August 1, today, to reach out voters from Gurukunj Mozari in Amravati district.

Chief Minister’s Yatra will be held in two phases and will spread across 30 out of the 36 districts. The first phase of the Yatra will begin from August 1 and will be culminated on August 9. The first phase will pass through the area in Vidarbha till Nandurbar in north Maharashtra.

The State Polls in Maharashtra are slated for October-November this year. In the national pollsShiv Sena along with its poll partner Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) registered a resounding victory by bagging 41 seats out of the total 48 Lok Sabha Seats on the state.
