With Maharashtra assembly polls just months away, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray’ son Aaditya Thackeray will embark its ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ to seek people’s blessings across the state. If reports to be believed Election Strategist Prashant Kishore has finalized the script of Aditya’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ to reach out Youths and win the trust of those who had not voted for the party in the party.
Aaditya Thackeray will begin his ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ from July 18, today. This will be the first phase of ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ and will be culminated on July 22. Aaditya Thackeray will start his proposed Yatra from Jalgaon District on July 18 and will be in Dhule and Malegaon on July 19.
Later on July 20 and July, he will be Nashik and the rural part of the Nashik. The first phase will culminate at Shirdi on July 22.
Shiv Sena Upneta Priyanka Chaturvedi, who had quit Congress in April to join Shiv Sena, announced the decision “Aditya Thackeray to take out ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ to thank people for their support, to seek their blessings for upcoming elections & also to win the trust of those who might have not voted for us in the past,” she said as quoted by news agency ANI.

The State Polls in Maharashtra are slated for October-November this year.
Earlier, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had in June announced that he would take out a ‘rath yatra’ across the state to campaign for Assembly polls. Revenue minister and senior party leader Chandrakant Patil had said Fadnavi’s Yatra will start in August and the date will be announced later.
In the national polls, Shiv Sena along with it’s poll partner Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) registered a resounding victory by bagging 41 seats out of the total 48 Lok Sabha Seats on the state.
