Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Tuesday, once again, pitched for providing reservation for locals in the state in private. Kamal Nath said that Congress-led Madhya Pradesh Government will soon bring a bill to provide 70 jobs reservations to Locals in private companies.

Speaking in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister Kamal Nath announced the proposal.

Talking to media on the proposal announced by the Chief Minister, Congress Lawmaker Kamleshwar Patel welcomed the proposal. He, as quoted by ANI, said, ‘With this youth of Madhya Pradesh will get opportunities as the youth of the state is our first priority’.

He further slammed past government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan and said, the previous government has totally ignored the issue and that is why we state is facing the issue.

He added that he feels giving 30 percent seats to others is enough.

In the meantime, State Lawminsiter PC Sharma said that the proposal put forward by the Chief Minister will soon become law.

Quoting the Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Sharma said, ‘Reservation of 70 percent will be given to Youths in those companies who are willing to invest in the state, We will soon draft law on this’.

He further added that Chief Minister Kamal Nath will hold an investor meeting in October for the same.

It should be noted that soon after assuming charge as the Chief Minister of the state in December last year, Kamal Nath had accused people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh of stealing jobs of locals. He had said that his government will give priority to locals.

He had reportedly said that ‘The Scheme of providing an incentive to will only be imposed after the locals of the state will get 70 percent reservation in private jobs. People of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar come here for jobs and locals could not get the jobs.

While other Congress Leaders have time and again have said that locals and youths of the state will on a Top in their priority list.
