Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday will visit Ayodhya to review development work in the district. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also expected to unveil 7-foot tall wooden Statue of Lord Ram at the Shodh Sansthan Museum.

As per the press release by the Uttar Pradesh government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his visit to Aydhoya on Friday will also visit Ram Ki Paidi. He will review the Construction work under-going at that place.

UP CM will also review the construction and development work going at Ayodhya Bus Station and the beautification work at Guptar Ghat, among others.

He will later in the inaugurate the 7-foot tall statue of Lord Ram at the Shodh Sansthan Museum. The statue is made of a single block of rosewood and purchased for Rs. 35 lakh from Karnataka. It will depict Kodamb Ram – one of the five avatars of Lord Ram.

Last year, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a project to build a 221-metre long bronze statue of Lord Ram on the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya. 

Yogi Adityanath’s announcement to visit Ayodhya comes a day after Shiv Sena Media Cell on Wednesday announced that it’s Chief Uddhav Thackery will visit Ayodhya later this month.

Thackeray has last year visited Ayodhya and asked the Central Government to announce a date for the construction of the Ram Mandir.

Earlier this week, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed all divisional commissioners and municipal commissioners to look after Swachata Abhiyan and directed them to prepare a detailed project report for the AMRUT City Scheme.

In Uttar Pradesh – now a stronghold of the saffron party, BJP bagged 62 seats and with its ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) it took its tally to 64 seats out of the 80 Lok Sabha Seat. While Mahagathbandhan bagged 15 seats – BSP 10 and SP 5 – while Congress only managed to retain its bastion Rae Bareli.
