The United States senator Elizabeth Warren has on Monday said, she took a major step towards 2020 US presidential election and has formed an exploratory committee ahead of 2020 expected campaign for presidential election.
According to news reports, Warren on Monday, said, “I’m in this fight all the way.”
With posting an online video on New Year’s Eve, Warren, known for critiques of corporations and big banks, became first candidate to announce her intentions for 2020 presidential election.
Warren claimed, “America’s middle class is under attack.” She said: “How did we get here? Billionaires and big corporations decided they wanted more of the pie and they enlisted politicians to cut them a fatter slice.”
Warren said: “Our government’s supposed to work for all of us, but instead it has become a tool for the wealthy and well-connected.”
In the video, Warren did not mentioned Trump’s name, but showed Trump’s images with Fox News personalities Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity and allies Kellyanne Conway.
The video stated: “The whole scam is propped up by an echo chamber of fear and hate designed to distract and divide us – people who will do or say anything to hang on to power.”
In a tweet, Warren wrote: “Every person in America should be able to work hard, play by the same set of rules, & take care of themselves & the people they love. That’s what I’m fighting for, & that’s why I’m launching an exploratory committee for president. I need you with me.”

Warren has been a favourite target for Trump, and Trump has also named her “Pocahontas” and also labeled her as “Goofy Elizabeth Warren”.
