Seoul, July 31: North Korea launched multiple “unidentified projectiles” on Wednesday morning off its East Coast, as per the reports by the South Korean military.

According to ANI news reports, the missiles were fired from the South Hamgyong Province situated off the east coast of the nation.

South Korean joint chiefs of staff (JCS) was quoted by Yonhap news agency as saying it was monitoring the condition that if in any case of extra firings and maintaining a mindset of readiness.

The recent launches have come six days after North Korea has fired two short-range missiles into the sea. United States President Donald Trump has downplayed the incident, arguing the nation tested a “smaller missiles” – something that the various number of nations do.

The development has come some less than a month after North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Trump has held a surprise meeting at the DPRK and further agreed to sit for another summit to work out denuclearization negotiations.
