Facebook-owned WhatsApp has made some major changes and these changes are already available in the beta version of WhatsApp. The new update stable version will be rollout soon in the upcoming days.

Hide Mute Status
Right before the new update, the Muted Status updates appear in grey if you noticed it. After the change you will see that the new update will give you the option to hide this muted status. And, the muted status updates would remain completely hidden in the Muted Updates section of the Status tab. This feature is available on WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.19.260.
Facebook Pay icon
WhatsApp is going to add the Facebook Pay icon on the WhatsApp page. WhatsApp already has an active payment gateway WhatsApp Pay. But, what another payment channel from the parent company can offer is something one will have to wait, for the feature to make its appearance. The information on the blog on WABetainfo just says that Facebook Pay is being included in the Android version of the messaging app.
Alignment Indicator
From this feature, WhatsApp is trying to make the application more user-friendly in terms of UI for its iOS users. As it has started working on an alignment indicator feature for iOS-based devices. This feature will reportedly help users to accurately adjust text, emojis, and stickers on photos, videos, and GIFs. The blog reports that it is possible that this feature could be used for media posted as status updates as well. It is already available for download in the beta version of Apple’s iOS-based app.
