In a recent interview by Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, he assured that there is no news of any ‘alliance’ with Congress in Delhi.
Previously, there were speculations that AAP and Delhi Congress might contest together.
Mamata Banerjee, in a previous statement said that AAP is ready for the alliance and it was up to Congress to decide.
On being enquired about the necessity of an alliance with the Congress in Delhi,Delhi CM said that the Modi-Shah duo in the last 5 years ruined the country with their disastrous demonetisation, GST and failed economy, along with the large scale infusion of hatred and division in the society, so it is really necessary to come together and fight in order to dethrone Amit Shah and Narendra Modi.
He further added that if BJP comes to power again, they would surely change the constitution and bring an end to democracy. Kejriwal compared the scenario to Hitler’s reign in Germany.
Delhi CM further said that what Pakistan couldn’t achieve in 70 years but Modi- Amit Shah did it in 5 years, referring to the internal divisions.

He added that undoubtedly they have no fondness for Congress but in order to throw Modi-Shah out of power, they thought of an alliance with the Congress.
But, he assured saying ‘as it appears’, they are not in any alliance with the Congress.

Kejriwal in the interview, he said that he don’t understand the intentions of Congress.As he said that the Congress’s activity in Delhi is weakening AAP, in West Bengal they are weakening TMC and in UP their increased activity is weakening BSP-SP alliance.
