Prime Minister Narendra Modi who got a massive mandate in recently held national polls, on Thursday took oath for the second term in an official function at Rashtrapati Bhawan. President Ram Nath Kovind administrated oath to PM and his Council of Ministers. A total of 57 ministers took oath as ministers of the next Union Cabinet at the ceremony held in the national capital.
On all 24 Cabinet Ministers, 9 Ministers of State with Independent Charge and 24 Ministers of State took the oath on Thursday.

The AIADMK and JD-U, one of the biggest allies of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not get a ministerial berth in the new Cabinet.
Many Global Political Leaders were also been invited to be a part of the mega event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party, on May 23 scripted history by bagging 303 seats on its own in the recently concluded national polls. Along with its allies, it took its tally to 352 Lok Sabha Seats out of 542 Seats were national polls held in April-May in seven phases.
