Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to launch BJP‘s Lok Sabha Poll Campaign in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday by addressing a rally of BJP in neighbouring Dhar district. Informing about the PM Modi’s schedule, BJP’s State Media In-Charge, Lokendra Parashar said: “Prime Minister will tomorrow address ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rally in Dhar and formally launch BJP’s poll campaign for the coming Lok Sabha polls.”

Earlier, PM Modi was slated to address Poll rallies in Itarsi and Dhar on February 15 and 16, respectively, but they were cancelled in the wake of the February 14 Pulwama terror attack.

BJP workers, mainly from tribal-dominated Dhar and Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha seats, will take part in the Vijay Sankalp rally, a party functionary said on Monday. Both Dhar and Ratlam-Jhabua was won by BJP in 2014 General Elections. In 2015, the Congress won the Ratlam-Jhabua byelection, which was necessitated following the death of the sitting BJP MP.

In 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP won 27 of the total 29 seats except for Guna and Chhindwara constituencies, which were retained by Congress stalwarts Jyotiraditya Scindia and Kamal Nath, respectively. In 2018 Assembly Polls, Congress has stormed back to power after 15 years and unseat BJP’s Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a bid to retain power at the Centre is leaving no stone unturned and addressing rallies. BJP is also busy in stitching alliance with its allies. Earlier on Sunday, PM Modi addressed two rallies – One in Bihar along with the NDA Allies – and the Other one at Congress’s Bastion Amethi.

PM Modi stated that Amethi was the perfect example of the BJP’s policy of ‘Sabka Saath, sabka vikas’. Taking a dig at the Gandhi family, the Prime Minister said, “Now, Amethi will not be known for a famous family but for AK 203”, ‘Made in Amethi’.

PM Modi today address a poll rally at his home turf Gujarat for the Lok Sabha Polls 2019. PM Modi during his visit also flagged off Humsafar Express train between Jamnagar and Bandra Terminus via video conference and inaugurated various development projects in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
