The Apna Dal (S), an ally of National Democratic Alliance in Centre, on Wednesday announced that its president Ashish Patel and Union minister Anupriya Patel will skip events led by the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh till their indifferences with the BJP are resolved, a day after the party voiced its frustration over the treatment of smaller NDA allies.

Ashish Patel while addressing a Presser on Tuesday said that said that the big allies should give due respect and importance to the small parties. He said that the leaders and workers of the small parties are hurt if not given due importance. He expressed his pain over BJP-led state government’s indifference towards his wife Anupriya Patel, who is also the Union Minister of State for Health. He claimed that she was not even invited for inaugurations of medical colleges.

Anupriya, the Union minister of state for health, was conspicuous by her absence at an event where the chief minister inaugurated a medical college. She was also not present at a function attended by the Chief Minister in Siddharth Nagar District on Tuesday.

Anupriya Patel, Union Minister and Apna Dal leader on speaking about the indifferences said, ‘BJP should learn from recent losses. SP-BSP alliance is a challenge for us’: My party president has already expressed the party’s view and I stand by it’.

Apna Dal(S) leader, Anurag Patel as quoted by an English News Portal said, “We have decided that our Leaders will not be attending any function of Yogi Adityanath led government in the state till all the differences would be cleared”.

Reportedly, Apna Dal(S) is likely to join ‘Bhajpa Bhagao, Bhagwan Bachao Yatra’ led by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in January to expose BJP in Uttar Pradesh before Lok Sabha 2019. AAP Senior Leader Sanjay Singh informed the press on Wednesday in Lucknow.

The Bhartiya Janta Party is facing stiff resistance presently with its allies deserting Coalition. RLSP led by Upendra Kushwaha also parted away from BJP led Alliance in Bihar and joined forces with UPA. TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu early this year separated its path from the alliance led by the Saffron Party.
