Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had on Sunday attended a poll rally in support of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Boss N Chandrababu Naidu at Vishakhapatnam. With the trio sharing the dais, the mega rally became a show of Opposition Unity and Strength ahead of the mega battle of ballots.

Speaking in the poll rally, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister slammed Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for cheating the people of Andhra by not giving special status to the state after its bifurcation. Naidu, said, ‘He (PM Modi) had made a promise in 2014 but never fulfilled that’. How can ‘he come to Andhra Pradesh and seek your votes without fulfilling it’.

‘It’s only You (Voters) the voter of Andhra Pradesh who has to ensure that he should not come power again’ He added while saying that all BJP Candidates will lose deposit in the state in the upcoming mega polls.

Responding to the PM Modi jibe at him about ‘U-Turn CM’, Andhra CM lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused his government of cutting funds for Bengal and Delhi. He said he did the same with Andhra by giving special status.

Andhra Pradesh has a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly Seats. The State Polls of the state is slated to be clubbed with national elections. Andhra will go to polls in a single round of polling on April 11.

Apart from Naidu who is seeking another term as the CM of the state, Kejriwal and Banerjee also racked up BJP and PM Modi. TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a debate.

While Delhi CM and AAP National Chief Arvind Kejriwal slammed BJP for destroying Central Institutions. Kejriwal said Modi-Shah duo has destroyed the Country and the nation is facing an emergency like situation.

Telugu Desam Party, the incumbent party of the state in a run-up to the polls has announced the names of TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee, NC’s Farooq Abdullah, Arvind Kejriwal, Tejashwi Yadav and bunch of top Leaders as its star campaigners for the mega battle of ballots.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who reached Vijayawada on Thursday said he is here (Vijayawada) to seek support for his Andhra Pradesh Counterpart Naidu.

Apart from Kejriwal and Mamata, National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah has been asked to galvanize support from Muslim dominated constituencies of Kadapa and Allagadda. Abdullah is expected to visit the state in the first week of March.

While RJD’s and Bihar Leader of Opposition Tejahswi Yadav will participate in a public rally in Nellore on April 2. Former Prime Minister and JD(S) Chief HD Deve Gowda and NCP‘s Sharad Pawar will campaign in Anantapur and Kurnool districts (bordering districts of Karnataka and Maharashtra).
