2K Sports’ famous wrestling title WWE 2K20 finally arrived on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 22nd. But interestingly, as the game arrived instead of positive reviews, #FixWWE2K20 was trending. WWE 2K20 has been broken and ridiculous. Moreover, the game has been frustratingly glitchy and seems to be a downgrade from its earlier version. It didn’t take long for Twitteratis to show their frustration and within hours of its launch, #FixWWE2K20 started trending. However, the first patch update 1.02 has arrived which addresses a few known issues. Here’s a sneak peek into what the patch has to offer:

- Interactions with tables, ladders, steel steps, and other objects
- Referee actions
- Onscreen button prompts
- Characters “warping” or moving unnaturally around the arena

- Image downloads
- Entrances and attires
- Universe mode editing and saving
- Custom and Created Superstars and creation modes
- Commentary and sound effects
- Online Stability, matchmaking, desyncs, and lag
Once again it didn’t take long for players to take on to Twitter any small change they saw after the patch hit the servers on Friday, November 1 at 8 a.m. EDT. Here’s a tweet which shows that Bianca Belair hairs have been fixed:

WWE 2K took to Twitter to address the issues as soon as the #FixWWE2K20 started trending:
“We are listening closely to the feedback that’s been shared regarding WWE 2K20 and are aware of the concerns some players are reporting. We’re working hard to investigate these concerns and address them as necessary. We expect to have an initial patch ready in the next two weeks, with others to follow. Stay tuned to WWEGames social media channels for more information.”
Many of the known issues have been patched in the 1.02 update and we can hope fo more improvements and bug fixes in the coming future.
