Pokémon Go as most of you must be familiar with is an AR (augmented reality) mobile game, developed and published by Niantic for iOS and Android devices, in July 2016. Ever since its launch, it has been a great success. Niantic has continued to keep people hooked and comes with new events and updates every now and then. Back in October, Niantic announced the ‘Online Player Battles’ feature ‘GO Battle League’ for the title which will arrive in 2020. And now, Niantic’s latest update adds a new Niantic Wayfarer feature which allows Pokemon Go players to find PokeStops and Gyms.
With the new Niantic Wayfarer feature, players can nominate local spots in their respective areas to become PokeStops and Gyms. But every nominated PokeSpot and Gym will first be reviewed by Niantic Labs before it officially becomes one. Also, players who are at or above level 40 can do the nomination.
Moreover, Niantic Labs has planned further events for this month including the Supereffective Week that kicks-off today and will continue until November 26.
