Keanu Reeves as one of the main characters in upcoming Cyberpunk 2077

Ever since the very famous and beloved Keanu Reeves aka ‘John Wick’ made his appearance on the E3 2019 stage alongside Cyberpunk’s trailer as Jhonny Silverhand, Cyberpunk has been in the news since then and all for good reasons. CD Projekt Red is quite excited about the launch of its much-awaited title Cyberpunk 2077 which comes out on April 16, 2020. The company is actively engaging with the audience and has already given enough detail about the game including it recently released a 14-minute video during the PAX West event. The company even announced that the game will be completely first-person including the cutscenes. Moreover, the developers even Male/Female options in character mode. and further announced that the title will be featuring a smaller yet denser map than Witcher 3. Then just a few days back, the company announced that Multiplayer feature will also be included in the game. And now, here is yet another news as the company claims that Keanu is not one of Cyberpunk 2077’s romance options.

The news surfaced the internet during Tokyo Games Show when Cyberpunk level designer Max Pears told VGC: “Keanu plays a crucial role in the game, but as for the option to romance him, I don’t believe you can.” He further added “That way it helps people know that it’s their character that’s being spoken to and also however you’ve envisioned your V, that’s still your V. That’s been our focus: your version of V is your version as the player and that’s how you will be addressed in the game.”

Cyberpunk’s release date has been scheduled as of April 16, 2020, and will be released for PlayStation 4, Windows PC (via GOG, Steam, and the Epic Games Store), as well as on the Xbox One. It will be further available on Google’s much-awaited cloud streaming platform Stadia.
