Gears 5 as we all know is an upcoming third-person shooting video game which is being developed by The Coalition and Xbox Game Studios is publishing it for Windows and Xbox One. The game is all set to be released on September 10. However, a few days back we talked about the early access going live from September 5 onwards and now, starting from 9 PM EDT, Gears 5: Ultimate Edition has gone live and is available to those who preordered it, or everyone who has an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate packages Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Live Gold together.
Gears 5 will be made available to everyone from September 10th, the official launch date of the title, via the Xbox One and PC. Windows Store will also be featuring the game alongside Steam. Until then let’s see at a few details we managed to write down after watching the amazing gameplay, available via the early access:
- Campaign – The world is disintegrating. The Swarm has defiled the Coalition’s robot armed force and is dropping upon human urban areas. danger closing in, Kait Diaz splits away to reveal her association with the adversary and finds the genuine risk to Sera – herself.
- Escape – A new, aggressive, high-stakes co-op mode featuring a three-player suicide squad that must work together to take out enemy hives from within.
- Versus – 10+ other game types, new and classic maps and rewards for every competitive style.
- Horde – You can use new hero abilities, building defenses, collecting power, leveling up your skills and working as a team in order to survive.
- Map Builder – You can even create custom Escape hive maps and experiences to share with and challenge your friends.
Overall the game looks pretty incredible but before we finally rate it, we should just wait for a few more days until the game launches officially and more players have access to it. Till then, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can enjoy the early access.
