call of duty special ops mode

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was a huge hit back in 2007 when it intrigued the gaming community with fascinating story and gameplay. Recently, Modern Warfare which is a re-imagined version of 2007 classic even officially rolled out a beta earlier this month with the title is all set to arrive on October 25th. But before its launch, Activision is busy sharing new trailers as the company shared a new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare launch gameplay trailer recently alongside a new Special Ops Mode trailer. And now, we also know that you don’t need to free up 175GB on your gaming PC to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at launch.

Recently, Activision shared the PC system specs and requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. From there, we came to know that the size of the title is 175GB. But, Activision has made it clear that you won’t actually need 175GB of empty space to install the game at launch. However, you will need that much space if you plan to play all of the post-launch content.

“In each of the specs, the HDD references HD space of 175GB. 175GB is the storage space we recommend players keep available in order to download the post-launch content we’ll be bringing to Modern Warfare,” Activision’s David Hodgson stated. “At launch, the initial download will be smaller.”

With just a few days away from its launch, it will be interesting to see how the title lives up to the legacy of its predecessors.
