Apex Legends since its arrival back in February this year has been a hot topic among gamers. Apex Legends received very positive reviews from critics, who praised its gameplay, progression system, and fusion of elements from various genres. And now it is getting even better as it is finally getting a solo game mode, but only for a limited time on PS4 and Xbox One.
Respawn Entertainment announced on twitter that it is launching a solo mode as part of The Iron Crown Collection Event which goes live on August 13. However, an exact launch time isn’t available yet, but Apex Legends usually gets updated at around 6pm UK time.
As we all know every Apex characters has its own set of abilities and powers, some of them might be better than others in the mode. So let’s see the three most preferable choices for the new Solo mode:
1. Lifeline:
Ajay Che, aka Lifeline’s homeworld, is Psamathe and is equipped with the tactical ability of D.O.C. Heal Drone. Her passive Combat Medic ability allows her to use heals and shields 25 percent faster than all other legends. While in a solo, all Lifeline needs to do if a number of players are fighting against each other, is duck behind cover and drop her drone while shielding herself. She can prove to be gamechanger in the solos.
2. Wraith:
Wraith is a whirlwind fighter and is popularly known as Interdimensional Skirmisher due to her capabilities of manipulating spacetime by opening portals in the fabric of reality. She is a deadly attacker yet very swift and is another character to look forward to in the solo mode.
3. Pathfinder:
Pathfinder is an MRVN (Mobile Robotic Versatile eNtity) modified to specialize in location scouting and surveying, he booted up decades ago in an abandoned laboratory with no idea who created him or why. With only his MRVN designation to hint at his identity, Pathfinder set off in search of his creator. With abilities like Grappling Hook and Insider Knowledge, he is the one to look out for.
