Vivo V15 Pro

Vivo 15 Pro has been officially launched in India. The new Vivo phone, as teased by the company, comes with a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The Vivo 15 Pro also comes with a triple camera module at the back with AI capabilities. The highlights of the device include an Ultra FullView Display with 19.5:9, a fifth-generation in-display fingerprint sensor and a Snapdragon 675 AIE SoC. The device will go on sale in India in the first week of March.

The Vivo 15 Pro is priced in India at ₹28,990 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage model of the device. The color options the device comes in with are Topaz Blue and Ruby Red. The device is slated to go on sale in the first week of March through Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Snapdeal, Vivo India online store, and a list of offline retailers as well. Pre-booking for the device has started from today and the launch offer includes 5 percent cash back from HDFC Bank, one-time screen replacement, and 0 percent downpayment from IDFC First Bank.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo 15 pro features a 6.39-inch inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Ultra FullView Display, a Super AMOLED panel. The device runs on Funtouch OS 9 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AIE SoC, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

At the camera front, the device comes in with a triple camera unit at the back compromising of a 48-megapixel primary Quad Pixel sensor (enabling 12-megapixel effective pixels) with an f/1.8 lens, along with an 8-megapixel secondary AI Super Wide-Angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel tertiary depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the Vivo 15 Pro has a 32-megapixel pop-up camera that offers features such as portrait lighting effects and AI-based beautification, apart from face unlocking.

The storage option on the device is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. Further, the device is backed up by a 3700mAh battery that supports Dual-Engine fast charging technology and is touted to charge from 0 to 24 percent in 15 minutes. The device also has a ‘fifth-generation’ in-display fingerprint sensor that is said to have higher fingerprint pixel density and more sophisticated algorithms over its predecessors to deliver a faster and more secure unlocking experience.

Connectivity on the device include  4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
