Realme 3 Pro launched on Monday to take on devices like Redmi Note 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M30. The Realme 3 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ display, Snapdragon 710 SoC, and a dual rear camera module with 16-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone also offers gradient back panel and thin bezels to stand out among the crowd. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top. However, alongside offering competition to other smartphones in the price range, Realme 3 Pro is also designed as an upgrade to the Realme 3.

Price

The 3GB RAM variant of the Realme 3 is priced at ₹8,999 while the 4GB RAM variant of the smartphone comes with a price tag of ₹10,999. The phone will be made available in Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Black color options. 

The Realme 3 Pro, on the other hand, has been launched in 4GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM variant has been priced at ₹13,999 while the 6GB RAM variant will cost ₹16,999.

Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Realme 3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 88.3 percent screen-to-body-ratio, 450 nits peak brightness, and 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM options. It runs Android 9.0 Pie with the latest Color OS 6.0 on top.

At the camera front, the device comes with a dual camera setup compromising of a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor. The camera on the device features PDAF, Nightscape mode, Hybrid HDR, Chroma Boost, Portrait Mode, scene recognition, and more. The device houses a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixels front facing camera, which includes  AI Beautification, HDR, and AI Face Unlock.

The device comes with 32GB and 64GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. he phone packs a 4,230mAh battery with an optimization mode support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, OTG, Micro-USB port, and more. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor.

The Realme 3 Pro features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) IPS panel which is protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with Adreno 616 as the graphics processor. The device is available in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The storage on the device can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top.

In terms of camera, the smartphone has a dual rear camera setup at the back compromising of a 16MP primary camera powered by Sony IMX519 sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the smartphone has a 25MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0.

The Realme 3 is fueled by a 4,060mAH battery which supports 20W fast charging powered by VOOC 3.0 adapter that will be provided in the box.
