Oppo K1, featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor and Hyper Boost technology for an optimized gaming experience, launched in India today. The prominent features of the phone include waterdrop-shaped display notch, a 6.4-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a dual rear camera setup, as well as its gradient design rear panel. The device also features a 25-megapixel front camera sensor, with AI-based beautification features and 296-point facial recognition.
Oppo K1 price in India is set for ₹16,990 for the 4GB RAm/64GB storage model. The device will be available in Astral Blue and Piano Black color options. Oppo launched the Oppo K1 6GB RAM variant in China back in October 2018 and we can expect it to hit the Indian market later this year.
In the meantime, the 4GB/64GB variant of the Oppo K1 will be available via Flipkart 12 pm IST on February 12. The launch offers fro the Oppo K1 include 10 percent instant discount on Citibank credit and debit cards, no-cost EMIs, Flipkart’s buyback guarantee (90 percent value at Rs. 1), and Complete Mobile Protection.
In terms of specifications, The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 X 2340 resolution at 402 PPI density. Oppo K1 has a screen to body ratio of 19.5:9 and comes in with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, the phone comes in two variants in term of RAM and internal storage. Oppo K1 is available in a 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal variants. The device is fueled by 3600mAh battery.
At the camera front, the smartphone has a dual camera setup at the back with a 16MP primary camera(f/1.7) coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, Oppo K1 houses a 25-megapixel selfie shooter(f/2.0). Oppo K1 is capable of 4K video recording.
Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, and GLONASS.
