RSVP movies released another short video from the film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike‘ naming it “Strike 2”. The 40-second video has a spine-chilling dialogue by Vicky Kaushal, who plays a significant role of an army officer in the movie.
The synopsis of the video reads, “सतर्क hojaao, वार Kahin se bhi ho सकता hai! Ab हिंदुस्तान ki baari hai जवाब dene ki.” (Be aware, one can be attacked from any direction! Now it’s India’s turn to pay back)
The video features three armed militants on the bank of a river. They sense something and get attentive. And then, out of nowhere, bullets are fired across their head and kills them instantly. Vicky Kaushal arises from the river with a voice over “Waqt aa Gaya hai, Khoon Ka Badla Khoon se lene ka.” (It is time for an eye for an eye.)

The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, Kirti Kulhari in pivotal roles. It is written and directed by Aditya Dhar, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and presented by RSVP movies.
The film is based on a surgical strike carried out by the special forces of the Indian army on September 29, 2016, avenging terrorist attack in Uri base camp on September 18, 2016, which killed 19 unarmed Indian soldiers. All the brave soldiers who went for surgical strike returned unharmed killing 35-50 Pakistani terrorists. They all received awards for their bravery on Republic Day in 2017.
