Former couple Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have created a special bond over time since their divorce years ago, as per sources of US Weekly.
“They’ve always cared about each other, and they think fondly of their time together, for Jen, seeing Brad is like seeing a dear old friend again. They have a real bond,” the source said.
Pitt and Aniston married in 2000 and divorced in 2005. For Aniston, it was particularly hard as she thought of Pitt as her “soulmate”, the source said.
Soon after their split, Brad started dating his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie and the two got married in 2014. The couple has five children, 18-year-old Maddox, 16-year-old Pax, 14-year-old Zahara, 13-year-old Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. They separated in 2016 and their divorce was finalized earlier this year.
The Friends actor separated from Justin Theroux in 2017 after their two years of marriage. Now both Aniston and Pitt are in good terms.
Aniston recently starred and executive produced the mystery comedy film Murder Mystery, directed by Kyle Newacheck.
Pitt, on the other hand, played an astronaut in the science fiction film Ad Astra and appeared as a fictional stuntman in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
