Most awaited and hyped film of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan starrer ‘Tubelight‘ remains strong on its third day at Worldwide box office. After an average opening day, the film remained flat on Saturday.

It has collected a record amount of Rs 21.15 crores at the domestic box office on opening day. The second biggest opener in 2017 behind SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’ but just the fifth best for Salman’s Eid releases behind Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Kick’, Kabir’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan‘.

On the second day, the film collected Rs 21.17 crore nett at the domestic box office on Saturday and its two-day total collection reached Rs 42.32 crore nett.

It is receiving mixed response from audience,fans and critics. Meanwhile, the film has shown a decent growth on its third day. Here is the Tubelight collection report of Sunday according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

‘Tubelight’ was made on a budget of Rs 100 crore. NH Studios has paid Rs 132 crore for the theatrical rights of the movie in the domestic market. Makers have sold out its music rights for Rs 20 crore. It has also earned profits from satellite sales to Star TV. The film was released on 4350 screens in India and on 1200 in the overseas market. The film which is set around the Indo-China war also features Sohail Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu.
