Protests still on against goof-up in Telangana intermediate results 2019

Telangana Board is in massive headlines these days due to the adherence in the result of the intermediate exams held this year. The main goofers are still not arrested, who are the victims of processing such a big blunder. Though various actions are being taken against the members involved in the goof-up at the niche level.

Yesterday, a teacher named Uma Devi has been suspended and fined with Rs. 5000 by the Board of Intermediate Education, who gave a student ‘0’ mark in board examination, whose answersheet calculated 99 marks.

Also BIE (Board of Intermediate Education) has arrested the scrutineer, Vijay Kumar, who served in the tribal welfare school, failed to sense the mistake.

Today, AISF (All India Students Federation) activists have filed the complaint in the police station demanding the arrest of Telangana Board of Intermediate Education secretary, Ashok.

The tough actions now are being taken because the BIE has been strictly directed by the three-member committee to take up serious actions against the matter.

The opposition parties like TJS, TDP, CPI and student parties like PDSU and ABVP protested in front of BIE demanding the arrest of the education minister Jagdish Reddy. Though, some of the minsters protesting were themself arrested amongst them include Senior Congress leader Geeta Reddy, TJS President M. Kodandaram, TDP state chief L.Ramana and senior leader R. Chandrashekhar Reddy.

According to the reports till now around 22 students have killed themself due to their failure in the intermediate examination. 9.74 lakh students appeared for the examination amongst them 3.28 lakh were declared fail.
