JEE Main January 2020 Admit Card Tomorrow

National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts entrance examinations across the country, will release the admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2020 tomorrow. The exam will be held between January 6 and January 11 of 2020. The candidates can download the admit card from the official websites of JEE Mains.

Paper 1 of JEE Mains exam will be held in computer-based mode only while Paper 2 will be held in both computer-based and pen and paper modes. A candidate can appear in both the exams or just one.

Paper 1 is for those candidates who want admission in B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) or B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) programs in IITs. The selected students from Paper 1 will appear for JEE (Advanced). The admission of the candidate in IITs will be based on category-wise AIR (All India Rankings) in JEE Advanced. The candidate will be asked to solve chemistry, physics and mathematics questions.

Paper 2 is for those candidates who want admission in B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) or B.Planning (Bachelor of Planning). The candidate will be asked to take the test in a computer-based mode for Mathematics and Aptitude tests while drawing tests in pen and paper-based mode.

The NTA has been conducting the JEE (Mains) exam twice a year – January and April. The examinations decide which college the candidate will get – NIT (National Institute of Technology), IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) or other centrally funded technical institutions.
