As we have seen Dark themes earlier also in Google and Apple via their Android 10 and iOS 13 respectively. But the third-party apps are still taking their time to implement dark mode theme, as Google has already added dark themes to most of its app. Instagram through its latest alpha update for Android has added a dark theme. It has used an AMOLED dark theme so the background colors are black.

The back background is not as successful as the dark grey background in the Google apps to save the battery. This dark mode isn’t perfectly dark in all parts, but it can make it more enjoyable to scroll through your Instagram feed at night.

The nice contrast between the black and gray parts make it easier to see without changing the actual content. This means that bright pictures are still going to be bright while any white in pictures will still be white.

How To Get Instagram With Dark Mode:

The link for the Instagram update is mentioned below, if you want to enable this on your phone, you need to first update to the latest version of Instagram and then enable your phone’s built-in dark mode because it currently follows the system-wide toggle. That means it’ll work if you’re running any Android phone on Android 10, or if you have a Samsung Galaxy device running One UI.
