Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, Sanju Samson, and Shivam Dube make it to the team.

India has announced the team for the T-20 World Cup.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is going to start on June 2nd, and the finals will be played on June 29th.

In total, 20 teams are going to participate in the tournament and will be divided into 5 groups.

From the four groups, the top two teams will make it to the next stage.

India Squad

Rohit Sharma will be leading the team, and Hardik Pandya will be assisting him as the vice-captain of the team.

Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant, after having a severe car accident, has recovered and is performing outstandingly in the IPL.

He has made it to the team again with his outstanding knocks and performances.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is finally making a comeback for the Indian team.

He played the last T20 for India in 2023, and now he is all set to be a part of the World Cup squad.

Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson, with his outstanding batting performance in the IPL, makes it to the team.

He is included as the second wicketkeeper-batsman, surpassing KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan.

Shivam Dube

Shivam’s impressive knocks for CSK in the end have made a huge impact.

He has been included in the World Cup squad because of his finishing skills.

Batsmen 

Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, and Shivam Dube.

All Rounders

Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav.

Bowlers

Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohd. Siraj.

Reserves

Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and Avesh Khan.

The overall squad of the Indian team looks strong and will be all set to leave as the IPL ends.

India will open their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland on June 5th in New York.

Apart from Ireland, Canada, the USA, and Pakistan are in the same group as India.
