Under the hood, Compass Night Eagle will be available with a sole 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. Just like the regular model, this limited-run edition comes with 170 horsepower and 350Nm of peak torque. Basically, the output remains unchanged but is available with an option to choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
In India, Jeep Compass continues its rivalry with some impactful compact SUVs like Volkswagen Tiguan, Citroen C5 Aircross and Hyundai Tucson. However, in terms of price, the rivalry goes further with products such as MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV700.
