Jeep Wrangler is the old formula that is still working for the American car giant, and hence, the team has decided not to mess with it. The 2024 iteration of the capable off-roader remains more or less the same in terms of design, but the changes offered are quite exciting.
The updated range is all set to continue the legacy and is now priced at Rs.67.65 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom, India).

Exterior & Design
Jeep’s legendary grille has finally received a makeover in the form of Black treatment. The carmaker has also updated the bumper and alloy wheels to give it a fresh look.
Other than the above-mentioned changes, the 2024 Wrangler now features Gorilla Glass to protect it from scratches. Jeep has incorporated the antenna inside after receiving feedback from the customers.
The updated range also gets a new colour palette that consists of Black, Granite Crystal, Firecracker Red, Bright White and Sarge Green (new).
Interior & Features
The update on the inside is significant, thanks to the introduction of the new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other than this, the steering wheel has also received a makeover with AC vents being sleeker when compared to the outgoing model.
The SUV is loaded with several features, and to be precise, the list includes 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC and 6 airbags, among others. The 2024 Wrangler also gets ADAS as standard.

Powertrain & Transmission
Under the hood, the SUV is still powered by a potent 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine capable of churning out a massive 268 horsepower and 400Nm.
For transmission duties, the Wrangler features an 8-speed automatic gearbox with Jeep’s Selec Trac 4WD system. It also gets a low range as standard.
Other Details
Making it more capable is the availability of sway bars that can be disconnected for better wheel articulation. It also comes with a front and rear differential with a Dana rear axle. These features are limited to the Rubicon variant.
Jeep says that the brand has already received over 100 pre-orders till now. In India, the SUV might not have any direct competition, but in terms of off-road capabilities, it goes head-on against the Land Rover Defender.
