The Cricket Advisory Committee is not keen to replace the current coach of India and want Kumble to continue his term till World Cup 2019.
Kumble had sent an application despite of being already selected for the final pool. The interview of all 6 members wil be taken by CAC.
BCCI will announce the new head coach of India on 18th June. The coach's term will be of two years till 2019.
Virender Sehwag has submitted only a two line resume for the post of head coach of Indian Cricket Team. Also there was no CV attatched to it.
Kohli will play no role in the selection process for the new coach. The decision will be taken by Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).
