Microsoft is well-known for its productivity with creativity in Windows 10 integration. Since the Surface is too pricey, they made it an easier buy into the lower cost laptops with Windows 10. The overpriced laptops sales have been reported low in spite of the new launches of Surface laptops and the Surface Book 2. Moreover, Microsoft has announced the debut of the two new versions making them available at lower price.
Microsoft Surface, a newly launched lower end laptop which has 7th Gen Intel Core m3 CPU. The laptop has been powered by 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD. The notebook has been priced at a decent price tag of $799 slashing almost $200. The predecessor was offering a Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB SSD with $999.
Next is the new Surface book 2 with the less Storage and lower price. The Entry level model has a 13.5-inch screen with 7th gen Core i5, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and integrated Intel HD Graphics. While slashing almost $300 the new model has all the same specs at 128 GB SSD. It gives the option of expanding the storage with an external Micro SD card.
Few other laptop’s priced has been slashed too, which are $200 cheaper now. This laptop comes powered with an i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The lower-price laptops are much for the daily use, such as word and other processing tasks. While the Surface Book 2 is for those MacBook customers who need a change towards windows. Recently, they posted a slight increase in their Personal Computing Segment, which is more likely to increase with suc adoptions according to the market. With the expensive price tag, the laptops have been facing the real tough problem for the economic buyers.
