The West Indies easily beat the United States of America (USA).

All eight teams are divided into two groups of four teams.
The top two teams from each group will proceed further in the semi-final stage.

The 46th match of the ICC T20 World Cup was between the West Indies and the USA.
These teams are in Group 2, and the match was in Bridgetown.
The West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first.
USA Innings
Steven Taylor and Andries Gous opened the innings for the USA.
Andre Russell didn’t let them settle, as he took Steven’s wicket in the second over.
Nitish Kumar came in to bat as he and Andries started to form a
partnership.
They were both making good use of the powerplay and getting runs.
Gudakesh Motie broke their partnership as he took the wicket of Nitish.
After that, the fall in wickets started as the USA started to lose wickets.
One by one, batsmen were coming and going back.
None of the batsmen were able to stand and play a big innings.
They lost all their wickets to a score of just 128 runs.
Andre Russell and Roston Chase took three wickets each, and Alzarri Joseph took two wickets.
West Indies Innings
The West Indies needed only 129 runs to win the match.
Till now, their performance has been outstanding in the World Cup.
Both their batting and bowling departments have performed well.
Shai Hope and Johnson Charles opened the innings for the West Indies.
Shai started to hit great shots from the start.
He was hitting outstanding sixes across the ground.
No bowler was able to stop him, as he was smashing every bowler.
Harmeet Singh, in between, took Johnson’s wicket.
Nicholas Pooran came in to bat and started hitting big shorts.
Shai soon completed his half-century with his outstanding knock of 82 runs in just 39 balls.
The West Indies won the match in just 10.5 overs.
Roston Chase was chosen as the Player of the Match for his spell of 3/19.
