India reaches the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup unbeaten.

Team India started the T20 World Cup journey in Group A.

They won all the matches, and one match was washed away due to rain.

After that, they were placed in Group 1 with Australia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

They won all of their matches and qualified for the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, their match was against England.

No one has forgotten how, in the 2022 T20 World Cup, England knocked India down.

It was time to take revenge, as they outshined England in all departments.

After a decade, India reached the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Match Details

The second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup was going to be played in Providence.

The match was between India and England.

England won the toss and elected to bowl first.

India Innings

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli opened the innings for the Indian team.

They both started to hit shots from the start, but Reece Topley didn’t let this happen for long.

He soon bowled Virat, and after that, Rishabh Pant also lost his wicket.

Suryakumar came in to bat as he and Rohit started to get along great and form an important partnership.

While going on, rain interrupted the play and resumed after some time.

Irrespective of the break, their momentum didn’t break as Rohit also completed his half-century.

Adil Rashid didn’t let Rohit go for long as he took his wicket.

And soon Suryakumar also lost his wicket to Jofra Archer.

The ending, marked by Hardik, Ravindra, and Axar, took India to a total of 171/7.

England Innings

Phil Salt and Jos Buttler opened the innings for England.

They both started great, and Jos was hitting great shots.

Axar was called into attack as he took the wicket of Jos in the first ball of his spell.

In the next over, Jasprit Bumrah bowled Phil, and then Axar again came into attack.

And took the wicket of Jonny Bairstow.

For five continuous overs, England lost a wicket.

The outstanding bowling of the Indian team wasn’t letting any English batsmen settle down.

From the 14th over until the 16th over, they lost one wicket in each over.

They got all out to a score of just 103 runs, and India won the match by 68 runs.

Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets each, and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets.

India reached the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup and will face South Africa on June 29 in Barbados.
