Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set for his three-day tour to Israel. This is the first time his will be visiting the Jewish state. This tour is expected to elevate the ties between Indian and Israel. Modi will sign few agreements in the fields of innovation, science development etc. Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu will accompany Narendra Modi throughout this tour. This visit is aimed at commemorating 25 years old ties between both the countries.
This tour is aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries. This visit is taken as a significant step as in the history of India, none of the prime ministers have ever visited Isreal. This is an additional expression of the state of Israel’s economic and diplomatic strength. as India is a huge country with a large population and growing economy, the tie between India and Isreal is ‘constant upswing’. This tie will help in expanding exports and deepening cooperation in agriculture and water. this will help in developing a joint innovation and research and development fund. Though both the leaders have met before at UN related events still they are looking forward to this meeting. A 40 million USD fund will be established for business cooperation, agreements permitting and extending incentives to Bollywood filmmakers. It is believed that Modi’s visit will solidify the security ties with Isreal, which often draws worldwide attention.
Giving a clear signal of de-hyphenation of its ties with two West Asian Nations, Modi will not visit the neighboring Palestine.
