Noticeboard, a B2B SaaS startup which provides staff communication platform, has raised ₹8 crore in its new funding round which was led by Stellaris Venture Capital.
Along with Stellaris, BlackBuck founder Rajesh Yabaji, YuMe cofounder Jayant Kadambi and other angels from Stellaris’ founder network have also participated in this round.
As a part of this funding round, Alok Goyal, partner at VC firm Stellaris Venture Capital, will join the company’s board.
The startup will use the newly raised capital to strengthen its technology, product and design teams. As it looks to leverage the power of the mobile phone to make information more accessible, Noticeboard will use the funds raised to bring on board talent that deeply understands the nuances of the small screen.
Vishal Gahlaut, CEO of Noticeboard, said,
Smartphone and data penetration have ensured that even the lowest rung of employees have access to smartphones. Given that they are digitally connected, there is no reason why information should reach them in the same broken manner as it has been so over the past years.
At Noticeboard, we want to bring them into the formal model of official communication where anything that the company is doing, information on their role, their needs, payslips, grievances can be addressed digitally.

Despite nearly three decades of email and thereafter a variety of communication tools for the desk workers, enterprise communication eludes the frontline staff. With over 300 million such workers in India, we believe that this is a massive opportunity, and one that should naturally come from India.
Noticeboard was founded by Vishal Gahlaut, Vishesh Dahinwal and Sarath Chandran in August 2016. All of them are former executives at Myntra and were handling marketplace, logistics and product functions.
