The democracy and human rights touched a new low in Sanvrad village of Rajasthan as police and administration behaved like dictators to cremate the body of Anand Pal Singh. After putting his family on a house arrest, the police forcefully took the control over the body of Anand Pal Singh and cremated it in the Village of Sanvrad on Thursday evening.
After the condolence meet got over in Sanvrad on Wednesday, police arrested the leaders of Rajput organisations including Sri Rajput Karni Sena. Once the leaders were arrested, the administration played its game by putting the family members on a house arrest. The curfew was eased for an hour and in a sudden process, his body was rushed for cremation.
The sad part of this incident is that no mainstream media has reported the same. All the media houses, which were reporting the protest day and night, have nothing to say on this dictator behaviour of the government. Even local media has maintained a distance because of the pressure put on them by the government authorities.
The incident which took place today has for sure left a black mark in the politics of Rajasthan and democracy of the country. The BJP government, which was considered as a well-wisher of Rajputs, has given them several reasons to unroot the government in the next elections. The next few days are going to be critical for the government as Rajputs are not known for sitting quite.
