Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50

Samsung has released the revamped edition of its Galaxy-A series in India. The series compromises of Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50. All three smartphone feature Samsung’s new Infinity displays and 4000mAh batteries.

The new Galaxy-A devices have been launched in India with price ranging from ₹8490 for the 2GB RAM/32GB storage of Galaxy A10, to as much as ₹22,990 for the Galaxy A50 with 6GB RAM/64GB storage.

Speaking of prices, the Galaxy A50 has been launched in India for a starting price of ₹19,900 for the 4GB RAM/64GB variant and ₹22,990 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant.

The Galaxy A10 and the Galaxy A30, on the other hand, have been announced in only one variant.

The Galaxy A30 will come in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and will be priced at ₹16,990 while the Galaxy A10 will come in 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant with a price tag of ₹8,490.

All the Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphones will be available starting 2 March through Samsung’s official online store. The smartphones will be displayed in Samsung’s Bangalore Opera House as well.

In terms of specifications, both the Galaxy A50 and A30 feature Samsung’s new Infinity-U display. They have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 sporting minimal bezels and waterdrop notch. The Galaxy A10, on the other hand, comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity-V display.

The Galaxy A50 is powered by Exynos 9610 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz while the Galaxy A30 and the Galaxy A10 are powered by 7904 octa-core processor and Exynos 7884 octa-core processor respectively.

At the camera front, the Galaxy A50 features a triple rear camera module compromising of a 25-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the device has a 25-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Galaxy A30, on the other hand, sports a dual camera setup at the back with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the Galaxy A30 has a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.

Lastly, the Galaxy A10 comes with a single 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front.

For security, the Galaxy A50 offers an in-display fingerprint sensor meanwhile, the Galaxy A30 has a touch capacitive rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

All the devices come with a USB-C port for charging.
