Apple is coming out with new services for Indian users a lot in recent times. India to soon get its online Apple store.
Manufacturing of the iPhone SE 2020 has already started and soon you will get discounted SE’s in the market. Along with that Apple is looking to capitalize by opening a dedicated online store for the Indian audience.
The online store will be ready for operations just ahead of the festive Dussehra-Diwali season. The timing of the opening seems quite perfect.
Apple is looking to capitalize on the fastest-growing smartphone market. It won’t be easy for Apple as its products are always in the premium range and not a large chunk of people in India can afford Apple like they afford Redmi or Oppo. The SE 2020 was a great move by Apple and soon we may see a SE watch too. The SE series is helping Apple to attract the Indian audience as they get the brand name of Apple at a very low cost compared to the iPhone X, XR, and iPhone 11.
An Apple retail store?
Along with the online store, Apple is also set to launch its first physical store in India. Currently, Apple sells products in India through its dealers and e-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon.
They have already scouted land in Mumbai and Bangalore. The Mumbai store is expected to open next year in BKC. One of the plushest areas in Mumbai. Talking about the Bangalore store, they are set to open a store in the heart of Bangalore near Minsk Square.
Apple has dominated the market in India when it comes to the premium smartphone segment. The real challenge lies in the mid-range area. That is where all of India’s crowd is saturated at. There is a lot of competition in the mid-range and if Apple, in near future comes with a device in that range then only the brand name of Apple would be enough to attract half of the buyers. Just like we are seeing with the SE 2020.
It is a good sign for the Indian market as Apple is pushing a lot to boost its revenue. The production of Apple products in India is gaining good momentum. Everything is going in the right direction at this moment.
