Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, which is directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Co-Produced by Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip.com. In the movie actress, Kangana will be seen portraying the role of Jhansi Rani Laxmibai.
According to the recent reports, Sonu Sood will soon be joining the cast of the warrior drama movie titled Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actor will be seen playing the character of ‘Sadashiv’ and for that, he has already begun his preparation for the role.
About his role, Sonu said, “It’s challenging to play a real life character because you know that it existed in the history and you have certain parameters to follow and stay within.” Moreover, he added, “I’m sure when you’re working with a brilliant director like Krish, a huge ensemble, and a brilliant technical team, there is no way to go wrong. So we are all on our toes to give our best.”
The epic film will release on April 27, 2018.
