Bollywood Actor Rajkummar Rao has recently wrapped up shooting for the web series “Bose Dead/Alive”. The web series will show the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, which is being directed by Hansal Mehta and in the series, actor Rajkummar Rao will be portraying the role of a prominent leader of the freedom movement Subhas Chandra Bose.
The web series is an attempt to present the life and struggle of Subhash Chandra Bose to the current generation. Subhash Chandra Bose is credited with revamping the Indian National Army, whose aim was to secure India’s independence from British rule. Subhash Chandra Bose was fair and bespectacled, his wide forehead and a receding hairline being distinguishable features. That’s what Rao set out to achieve. The actor said, his well-wishers advised him to give it a second thought. But he made up his mind and went ahead with it.
Yesterday, Rajkummar Rao announced the news on his Twitter account along with a photograph. He captions the photo saying, “And it’s a wrap on one of my most ambitious projects. #Bose Thank u @ektaravikapoor @mehtahansal @filmy_bastard @Patralekhaa9 @Indranil1601.”

On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will soon be seen in the movie titled “Newton“, which is an Indian Hindi-language black comedy film. The movie is directed by Amit V Masurkar and produced by Drishyam Films. ‘Newton’ is the second movie after his debut film title ‘Sulemani Keeda’, which was a slacker comedy independent movie. The movie will revolve around the Newton Kumar, a government clerk sent to a jungle of Chattisgarh on an election duty. In the jungle, he faced with an apathy of security forces and the guerrilla was attacked by the communist rebels and he tries his best to conduct a free and fair voting rights, but despite the odds stacked against him.
