Set in Indore city, the heart-warming drama revolves around the Diwedi family. Shekhar, the eldest son returns to his hometown after being fired from a job in Bengaluru. During the visit to his hometown, Shekhar begins to rediscover not just his family, but also his entrepreneurial calling. His life changes as he finds a road to self-discovery.

Shekhar, played by Vishal Vashishtha is a perfect portrayal of a typical corporate employee, who is just running a rat race like everybody else. However, his visit to Indore made him realise his entrepreneurial skills. His amazing acting chops were a positive point for the web series to attain such a great height.
On the other hand, the reckless brother played by Saad Bilgrami and his chulbuli sister played by Anushka Kaushik did justice to their roles.
Veteran actors Atul Srivastava and Vibha Chibber perfectly slide into the shoes of typical middle-class parents, a bit strict yet loving. Meanwhile, Ajitesh Gupta as Darshan, Shekhar’s best friend, won our hearts with his acting skills, the typical Indori accent with humour in every dialogue made him one of the most important characters of the series.

Ghar Waapsi is an attempt at approaching the middle-class problem with the intent of making it too relatable to your own life. The bond shared between the siblings will relate to you the most. Shekhar’s mother cooking special food for him and his younger siblings complaining about her not loving them equally will also relate to the moments when your brother/sister visits home occasionally.
The best part of the family drama is the ending when Shekhar returns back home to carry forward the legacy of his father’s agency. The show dwells on the disillusionment of employment through the discomfort of living apart from your loved ones.
Overall, Ghar Waapsi is a heart-warming drama, and everyone must enjoy this masterpiece with their families on Disney+ Hotstar.
