New films are coming out on Amazon Prime Video, and among them is Bhumi Pednekar‘s next film, Durgavati. The actor took to Instagram to share a poster from the film, revealing her look from it.
Bhumi posted the look from the film, captioning it as, “What’s behind that door? You will know soon, Durgavati releasing worldwide, 11th December 2020 on @primevideoin,” While her post was as follows :

Meanwhile, rumors are rife that the film is a remake of Anushka Shetty’s 2018, Telugu Film, Bhaagamathie. The makers have however remained silent on this, with an official update about the same, set to come out soon.
In Bhaagamathie, Anushka Shetty had played the role of an IAS officer. Durgavati is being produced by Akshay Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra. They’ll be producing the film under their banners, Cape of Good Films, T-Series, and Abundantia Entertainment respectively.
G. Ashok has helmed the film, which also stars actors, Arshad Warsi, Mahie Gill, Murali Sharma, and Jisshu Sengupta among others.
Bhumi was last seen in the recently released Netflix film, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, along with Konkona Sen Sharma. The film was helmed by Alankrita Shrivastava. She also has Karan Johar’s Takht and Badhai Do with Rajkummar Rao as her upcoming projects.
