Rajasthan has declared the results of its class 12 board examination. Students can check their results in the official website. There was an increase in number of students who have passed compared to the previous year. the overall pass percentage stood at 90.70%, which is 2.7% of increment from the previous year. however, the state couldn’t cross its highest score of 94.65% scored in the year 2018.
The Science stream of Rajasthan board scored 91.66% this year. The pass percentage of Commerce stood at 94.49%. But the performance of the arts stream was not up to the mark. Many districts scored well in Commerce.
The pass percentage of girls is 93.10% while the pass percentage of boys stood at 88.45%. The girls have once again outshined the boys in all the three streams.
5,90,868 students registered for the class 12 in Arts exam. In that 5.80 lakh appeared for it and 5.26 lakh cleared it. Around 21,681 students will be writing the supplementary exams.
The RBSE is yet to announce the dates for supplementary exams. It has also been decided that those who couldn’t attend the pending exams would be given a chance to re-write the exam during the compartmental exams. However, since coronavirus cases are increasing day by day, it is unclear as on when these exams would take place.
The state also announced that it shall likely release the class 10 results by July-end or in the first week of August. Students need to score at least 33% of marks in each subject, to be declared as pass. In addition to the theory subjects, students have to clear the practical papers separately.
