The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has introduced four new online certificate programmes in business, strategy, marketing, and product management. All this programmes are graduate-level courses.

This courses are being offered in collaboration with an virtual learning platform Coursera. All this online certificate programme will be made available for the students via this platform.

Each of this programme has different curriculum which will offer a vibrant learning experience to each student with an holistic approach towards the discipline a student has selected for the certificate course.

The duration for each of this programme will be around 6 to 8 months. The students will be taught and guided by the faculties of IIM-K which will be based more on interactive learning and practical education.

Coursera will provide the advanced learning tools supported by modern technology for this programmes. While the curriculum of each course will be prepared by experts at IIM kozhikode.

Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, the Director of IIM-K said that motive behind the launch of this programmes is to implement the institute’s concept of 3 D’s which are Digitisation, Diversification, and Disruption.

About the collaboration, he mentioned that the robust platform of Coursera provides us global reach as well as AI-based tools which enables seamless learning and teaching experience, ideal for this courses.

About the Certificate Courses :

  • Management Course – It is a 8 months long programme which aims to equip the students with skills and strategies for addressing the challenges of an business-driven industry.
  • Strategy Course – This certificate programme will focus on concepts likeĀ  growth strategies, data-driven decision-making, and practical leadership tactics alongside management skills.
  • Marketing Course – This programme is especially designed for professionals working in marketing sector. The student under this course will explore modern aspects of customer reach like AI and Data mining.
  • Product Management Course – This course is all about strategies of developing and releasing a product into the market. This includes several skills like market research, prototype designing, product R&D, etc.
