Mr. Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi has recently launched an online application especially dedicated for Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) offered in the schools of delhi.
This web application can be used by the students, teachers, principals and EMC coordinators of the schools to access the learning and teaching material related to the Entrepreneurship course.
The application was launched during a review meeting chaired by the Deputy CM with all district and zonal EMC coordinators. He also shared details about this application and conveyed his thoughts regarding the EMC course.
He said that the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) should not be only treated as a mere scheme or initiative. Rather, it must be considered as an important subject in each school of delhi.
The Delhi government believes that courses like EMC creates a positive impact on the career of students. This courses are not only limited to books, they provide an experience of holistic and skill-oriented learning.
The EMC course should be made a part of the learning and teaching process on daily basis and this should be accepted by the teachers first, as only they can influence the students to engage in such concepts.
Entrepreneurship is a modern trend in todays world. Subjects like EMC will enable the students to stand along with the rest, face the challenges and built a self-dependent career to create vibrant opportunities.
The Deputy CM also further explained about the web application designed on the basis of EMC course. He mentioned that the application tends to promote more practical and interactive learning among students.
Students will be trained in classes to apply the theoretical knowledge in their real life occurrences. While the web application will provide a platform and suitable environment to practice such activities.
The web application will also enable the students to participate in live interactions with renowned entrepreneurs and have a look into their stories of success and motivation.
