Kia Motors has recently revealed the price of the all-new Kia Sonet in India. However, the Korean carmaker decided to announce the price of the top-spec GTX+ automatic variants later. The wait for Kia to announce the price of the top-spec automatic variants has come to an end. Meanwhile, Kia has priced both the GTX+ petrol DCT and diesel AT at ₹12.89 Lakhs.
Kia Sonet GTX+ Automatic Petrol variant comes with a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Coupled to a 7-speed DCT gearbox it produces 118BHP of power and 172Nm of torque. However, the diesel variant comes with a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine that produces 115BHP of power with a peak torque of 250Nm. This engine comes paired to a 6-speed torque converter.
The top-spec Kia Sonet GTX+ gets 7 colors on offer:
- Intelligency Blue
- Aurora Black Pearl
- Gravity Grey
- Beige Gold
- Steel Silver
- Intense Red and
- Glacier White Pearl
Safety features on offer with the Kia Sonet GTX+ are 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control and Traction Control System (TCS).
However, in India, Kia Sonet competes with the other sub 4-metre SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
