Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 lockdown has become mandatory for everyone. Many OTT platforms are seeing a big rise during this season. Also, many business works and educational lectures begin to carry out online. Communication apps like Zoom, Google Duo, Google Meet, Skype, etc are being used widely.

Skype has rolled out a new update that will allow users to choose their own background. This feature is also available in Zoom also, but due to some security concerns the Government has abandoned the use of the Zoom app for official purposes. This makes skype capture the market in the absence of Zoom, however, Zoom’s popularity is growing every day.

Skype’s new update is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Web. The update is expected to roll out all over the world next week. Recently, Google Meet has also got new features for its users. All the companies are trying to give their best to meet the people’s needs.

Google meet has given the option of adding 16 participants for video chats at a time. Users can give the presentation by clicking the ‘present now’ button which is given in the bottom right corner. This can cover the entire screen or part of a screen based on the user’s choice. Once the user has completed his/her presentation the user can stop the presentation by clicking the ‘stop presentation’ button.
