After mastering the presence across India and in global market, Oyo Hotels and Homes, India’s fastest growing hospitality unicorn startup, has started an online portal for travel agents called ‘SuperAgent,’ reported ET.

The Gurugram-based giant Oyo stated that the newly-launched online portal SuperAgent aims to upgrade the booking experience for travel agents by giving ways to book an Oyo facility for their customers.

The SoftBank backed hospitality chain Oyo was started by Ritesh Agarwal in 2013. The startup was started from a single hotel to over 8500 hotels at present. It is the fastest growing network of hotels, offline and online.

Recently, Oyo bagged $1.5 billion (approx INR 10,650 crore), its largest funding to date from founder Ritesh Agarwal and existing investor SoftBank after which the company’s valuation rose upto $10 billion.

Oyo also said that SuperAgent will provide re-registered and verified offline travel agents access to Oyo’s inventory.

The portal is in addition to other channels of booking available to consumers including website (desktop and mobile), app, OTAs and walk-ins, the company said.

“SuperAgent aims to provide customised service to each and every guest based on their requirements. We will continue to create offerings that add value and enrich experiences for our end consumers,” Gaurav Ajmera, CEO, India and South Asia at Oyo, said.

Some of the significant strong players in the hospitality startup include YatraFabhotels,TreeboMakeMyTripClearTrip, and among others.
