Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday urged his party workers to reach out to farmers and help them in solving their problem. He added that all the workers should stand shoulder to shoulder with the farmers across the state.

Shiv Sena Chief on Wednesday also reviewed the crop insurance help centers set up by the party in rural taluka of Maharashtra. In relation to crop insurance and debt relief for drought-hit farmers, Thackeray urged party workers to help farmers in all possible way.

Addressing party workers and leaders in Mumbai, Shiv Sena President said, ‘The One Nation, One election will take place when it is supposed to, but we cannot ignore these issues. All the party workers and leaders should support farmers in all possible ways’.

He further added that he held discussions with Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for speedy solutions of the problems faced by the farmers across the state.

‘We have to fulfill our promises and support the common people’, said Thackeray while adding that voters have supported the party in the Lok Sabha polls.

‘We faced many questions when we forged an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party, but we knew we are moving in the right directions’, Thackeray added.

Shiv Sena is BJP’s one of the oldest alliance and currently a party of both state and centre with the saffron party.

In the recently held national polls, Bharatiya Janata Party along with its ally Shiv Sena swept Maharashtra by bagging 41 seats out of the total 48 Lok Sabha Seats on the state.

NCPCongress alliance faced a humiliating defeat by the BJPShiv Sena combine. In the state that sends 48 MPs to the Lok Sabha, NCP-Congress could only bag 5 Lok Sabha Seats with NCP winning 4 seats while one seat won by the Indian National Congress.
